Last updated: 24 May 2025
Purpose of This Policy
This Editorial Policy explains how we research, create, review, publish and update content on tnnmc.org. It also sets out our standards for accuracy, independence and transparency so that readers, contributors and partners understand exactly what to expect from us.
1. Core Editorial Principles
- Accuracy & Evidence – We rely on peer‑reviewed research, official statistics and first‑hand professional experience. All medical or clinical claims are backed by primary sources.
- Expertise & Experience (E‑E‑A‑T) – Articles are written or reviewed by licensed nurses, nurse educators or subject‑matter experts whose credentials are disclosed.
- Independence – Editorial decisions are made without influence from advertisers, sponsors or affiliate partners.
- Inclusivity & Respect – We use person‑first language, avoid bias and represent diverse nursing communities across geography, gender and ethnicity.
- Transparency – Authorship, update history, conflicts of interest and funding sources are clearly stated.
