Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before accessing or using https://tnnmc.org (the “Site”) and any services, mobile applications, newsletters, webinars or other products (collectively, the “Services”) operated by TNNMC – The Nursing & Midwifery Community (“TNNMC”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our Services you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and Editorial Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to form a binding contract. If you are accessing on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
The Services are intended for global users; however, local laws may restrict use in certain jurisdictions. You are responsible for compliance with your local regulations.

2. Account Registration & Security

You may browse most of the Site without registering, but certain features (job applications, commenting, personalised alerts) require an account.
When registering you agree to provide true, current and complete information and to keep it updated.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activities conducted under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Post content that is defamatory, unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, obscene or otherwise objectionable.
Upload proprietary or personally identifiable information without authorisation.
Misrepresent your identity, credentials or affiliation.
Scrape, spider, data‑mine or use any automated means to access the Services without prior written permission.
Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code or disrupt the functioning of the Services.
Use the Services for commercial solicitation except as expressly permitted (e.g., paid job postings).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts or remove content that violates these Terms.

4. User‑Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post, but by submitting it you grant TNNMC a world‑wide, royalty‑free, perpetual, irrevocable, non‑exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute and display such content in any media.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit, and that our use will not infringe any third‑party rights.

5. Job Board & Volunteer Listings

TNNMC publishes listings supplied by employers, recruiters or third‑party aggregators. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability or outcome of any listing.
Application materials you submit may be forwarded to the listing employer and processed subject to their privacy policies.
TNNMC is not an employment agency and does not participate in hiring decisions.
You must conduct your own due diligence before accepting any position or volunteer assignment.

All articles, calculators, webinars and other materials are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, legal, immigration, financial or career advice. See our full Disclaimer.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by TNNMC and protected by international copyright, trademark and other laws.
The name “TNNMC – Nursing Careers & Education Resources”, our logos and trade dress may not be used without prior written permission.
Third‑party trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Third‑Party Links

The Services contain links to external sites that are not operated by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third‑party sites.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non‑infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TNNMC, its directors, officers, employees, contributors or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless TNNMC and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to the Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice or liability.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and any additional written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and TNNMC regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
